What is Catalyst?
An optional one-time software supporter for Refit. The free core stays free. This is not a donation or charity.
What are the prices?
Insider $25, Supporter $50, VIP $100. One-time. Shown before checkout.
What do I get in Phase 1?
You support ongoing free-core development, get an email receipt from Creem, and our thanks. An in-app badge or redeemable perk is not included yet.
What is not included yet?
In-app badge, redeem, or any entitlement inside the app. Those may come in a later phase. We will not claim they work before they do.
Who processes payment?
Creem is the merchant of record. Their checkout terms apply to payment processing. See also https://userefit.com/terms.html
Refunds?
If checkout went wrong or you bought by mistake, email idsnengr@gmail.com within 14 days. Refunds are handled case by case through Creem where applicable.
Is Sync part of Catalyst?
No. Encrypted multi-device sync is separate and later. Existing Sync users (if any) stay free forever. We are not announcing a Sync paywall in Phase 1.
Where is my data?
Without Sync, your logs live only in this browser's local storage on this device. Skipping Sync or never making an account does not expire your data on a timer. Clearing site data for app.userefit.com, closing a private or incognito window, using another device or browser, or wiping the PWA or storage removes those logs. Until Sync ships, Export is your backup.
What if I cleared my browser?
If you cleared site data for app.userefit.com (or this browser's storage), closed a private session, or wiped the app storage, those local logs are gone and we cannot restore them. Next time, use Export before you clear anything. We will update this wording when Sync ships.
Does Catalyst change the free app?
No. Core tracking does not require Catalyst.
